Last week at Where 2.0 I was chatting with Chris Pirillo about tags and microformats, when he produced a pair of microphones and started recording.

Michal Migurski :
I keep coming across these incredibly interesting-sounding podcasts, but an MP3 file is impossible to skim effectively and I hate to bother the people around me with audio. I find it weird that a site devoted to semantic markup is distributing information in a search- and bandwidth-hostile format.
If it’s worth posting, is it worth transcribing?

Kevin :
Well, if someone wants to transcribe it, I’ll happily post that here.
The point of podcasting is that it lets you listen to the audio away from a net connection, or even a computer. That is what I was getting at in the first piece Chris links.
Listen t it while driving, or exercising, or something like that.
