We all are planning to do everything proper to make sure we not only 
have paper trail of what we looked at, but to get buy in from 
potentially affected parties.

I understand your concerns. The point of the discussion over the last 4 
days is to explore the whole concept of what ia a blog posting 
micrformat, is it worth doing, what are the possible applications and so 
forth. It's difficult to do that unless we can sketch out what we think 
such a thing would look like.

There's no point in putting the cart on either side of the horse unless 
there's a reason to believe you need to haul something around.
