Wouldn't it be possible to specify atom:content
type="application/xhtml+xml" and insert a headed document?

But I do think a mechanism for identifying any microformats in use in
a doc fragment would be very useful, I'm sure plenty of headless
content will be passed around in syndication. A way of disambiguating
the data is very desirable.
