I'm not a WP user, so not much help on that front. The only thing I'd  
note, is that if your plugin is inserting the link to http:// 
technorati.com/contacts/referrer, you may want to see if WP gives you  
access to write out the full page URL instead. Referrers are really  
handy, but for all sorts of reasons often the referring URL might not  
get passed through. (faux 'home internet security' products, paranoid  
corporate firewalls and lame ISPs are all prime suspects).

But meh, hardly worth losing sleep over. :)
