[uf-discuss] Definition of Microformats

I've been looking at this [1][2] and I think ... maybe ... that
there's something missing. Are not microformats something that is
created by the microformats process?

The reason I ask is that someone's announced "hRelease" today [3]
using the microformats name and symbol.
