A good example of a schedule is a conference e.g:
Microformats Expo 2007
22 January 2007
Glitzy Hotel, Techno Boulevard, London
10:00 Plenary session
Room 1
11:00 Session One
Room 2
12:00 Session Two:
Room 2
Using the current hCalendar specification, vevent elements can be used to denote the three sessions. Adding an encompassing vcalendar element would identify that the events form a schedule (and could be used to distinguish this schedule from any others on the page if present).
What I'm suggesting is that we should define some descriptive properties that apply to the vcalendar element. Then we can give this schedule a name etc.
This would be similar to the two-level hierarchy in hAtom, where there are hfeed properties as well hentry properties.
BTW any implementation that was only interested in vevents would ignore these properties.
