I actually rather like the cursor idea.

Why not just restrict the cursor thing to be activated over the actual
"data" of a Microformat.

For example... consider an hCard.  It's true that the actual hCard
could span the whole page.  But you could make the cursor thing happen
only when the cursor goes over the text of the name... the logo... and
stuff like that.

(Did I explain that well enough?)

So... you would NOT make the cursor thing happen over the span of the
Microformat.  But you would make it happen over the actual "text",
"image", etc, data of the Microformat.
