>/span>)</span></p></dd>

Please - everyone - format your mark-up examples to be readable in plain
text e-mails. For example:

        <dt id="ref-Howcome">[Cascading]</dt>

        <dd><p>

        <a href="http:// people.opera.com/howcome/2006/phd/"><cite
        class="title">Cascading  Style Sheets</cite></a>.

        <span class="author">Håkon Wium Lie</span>.  PhD thesis,

        <span class="school">University of Oslo</span>,

        <span class="year">2005</span>.

        <span class="urlwrap">

        <a href="http:// people.opera.com/howcome/2006/phd/"
        class="url">http:// people.opera.com/howcome/2006/phd/</a>

        (referenced:

        <span  class="refdate">2007-02-26</span>)</span>

        </p></dd>

You might also remove extraneous detail, so that :

        <a href="http:// people.opera.com/howcome/2006/phd/"
        class="url">http:// people.opera.com/howcome/2006/phd/</a>

becomes:

        <a href="..." class="url">...</a>

Thank you.

I suggest that this request be written into the mailing list policies.
