[uf-discuss] hCalendar listings for complex/irregular recurring events

I'm trying to figure out how best to marry economy of data input with
the ideals of hCalendar output...

Consider a theatrical production that runs across several weeks. It
shows on most, but not all days of the week. On those days when it does
show, it runs twice a day: from 11am to 1pm, and from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.

Or consider a show that runs everyday for three weeks, except for one or
two specific days when the cast takes a break to recharge.

What's the best approach to these kinds of scenarios? Is it simply to
regard each and every production as an event in its own right and so, in
the case of 29 performances of the same show, to enter it as 29 separate
events?

From the final paragraph under Recurring Events (
http://microformats.org/wiki/hcalendar-brainstorming#Recurring_Events ),
I'm guessing the answer is 'yes'!

But if anyone has some better thoughts they would be much appreciated.
:-)
