That's a good suggestion.  Although you could only use it *exactly* if
the fraction, in its irreducible form, had a denominator that was made
up of a product of only 2's and 5's.

So, these would work: 1/2, 1/4, 3/4, 1/5. 1/20, 1/40, 1/125

(Since 2=2, 4=2*2, 5=5, 20=2*2*5, 40=2*2*2*5, 125=5*5*5)

But, for example, this would not work: 1/3

(Because 1/3 = 0.33333333333333333....)

And also for example, this would not work either: 3/7.

(Because 3/7 = 0.428571428571428571428571428571....)

Well... unless we'd make up some way of specifying that a numeric
pattern will repeat infinitely, in plain text.  (Which is often
specified by putting a horizontal line above the repeating numeric
pattern.  Which is not possible in plain text AFAIK.)
