Agreed, and originally raised 2008-06-07:

Please document new issues against microformats (specs, drafts,
brainstorms) on the respective issues wiki page, and add
(dis)agreement +1(-1) with your name and reasons accordingly.

author of is not necessarily the same as contact for.
<address> means contact for whereas the author semantic comes from
Atom which means author. RFC 4287 section 4.2.1. The "atom:author"
Element.
