Work of Art
Many art museums use metadata to describe the works of art in their collections. However, the presentation of works of art on the web often does not benefit from that formalized categorization work. We'd like to develop an xhtml markup standard for the presentation of works of art on the web.
This page is an index for a community effort to create a work of art microformat.
Per the microformats process:
- workofart-brainstorming (A place to propose and discuss xhtml markup standards for works of art.)
- workofart-examples (A list of existing (x)html markup examples for works of art.)
- workofart-formats (A list of existing metadata formats works of art.)
Please take a look, and contribute your thoughts and ideas.
