Une tentative de rassembler ensemble des exemples de pages décrivant, liant ou faisant référence à de la musique.

Le Problème

Les éditeurs de fichiers audio les annotent avec des données visibles à propos de l'audio, ainsi les utilisateurs savent d'où ils viennent et s'ils veulent ou non les fichiers.

Un format qui baliserait sémantiquement l'information existante à propos de l'audio permettrait au logiciel tel qu'un programme de lecture de CD de parser et indexer cette information à partir de la page web respective (cf CDDB).

Introduction

Les exemples de ce que les gens publient véritablement sur le web au moment de discuter, lier et faire référence à des artistes de musique et à leurs oeuvres. Ceci est concentré avant tout sur les descriptions des artistes et leurs éditions. L'information de place/piste est mieux couverte dans la page plus générale media-info-exemples.

Pour les besoins de cette discussion "artiste" fait référence à l'artiste qui interprète l'oeuvre. Ce qui veut dire, l'individu ou le groupe qui a interprété un enregistrement particulier plutôt que le parolier ou le compositeur d'une chanson (dans beaucoup de cas, ce sont les mêmes). Cette distinction doit faire avec l'association entre les interprètes et les enregistrements sonores et les détails pratiques de copyright sur la musique -- ce n'est en aucun cas une assertion de la définition du talent artistique.

Les éditions font référence aux collections d'enregistrements sonores qui sont conditionnées ensemble et rendues disponibles. Les Singles, EPs et albums seraient tous des éditions.

Emphase sur Pratique, Simple et Minimal

Parce que toutes les précédentes tentatives connues pour ce problème ont abouti à des formats tout à fait complexes et trop designés, cet essai fera place en priorité à la simplicité et au minimalisme.

De ce fait à cette heure, ce document est délibérément restreint aux exemples qui sont :

De véritables exemples en pratique sur le Web avec des URLs vers les originaux (note, toutes les pages *-examples devraient être comme ça mais les tentatives précédentes pour documenter les exemples de media-info ont en fait ignoré cette exigence, et de ce fait il est nécessaire d'être explicite).
Représentatifs de comportements de publication très communs sur le Web. Cette concentration sur des exemples communs, représentatifs est essentielle. Si possible, incluez une estimation du nombre d'exemples similaires. Par ex. ~10k.
Simple et minimaliste. Aussi simple que possible. Allez lire dès maintenant microformats-fr#les_principes_des_microformats les principes des microformats avant d'aller plus loin.

Tout exemple ajouté qui ne se conforme pas à ces exigences sera effacé.

Toute analyse générique sera aussi effacée. L'analyse avant les exemples est prématurée. Une fois qu'il y aura suffisamment d'exemples de media-info et nous l'espérons une liste simple et propre de media-info-formats, nous démarrerons (nous l'espérons) une page media-info-brainstorming pour produire une analyse agrégée des exemples.

Les pages et/ou petits sites dédiés à une édition spécifique d'un artiste. Elles incluent généralement les descriptions de l'édition, la liste des plages et le travail d'art sur l'album. Elles peuvent disposer de liens média téléchargeables ou en flux. Autre remarque : les bios d'artistes sont dans certains cas, spécifiques à une édition -- d'un point de vue du label elles sont souvent récrites chaque fois qu'un artiste actif a une nouvelle édition importante.
