定義

Microformatsとは、Webサイトで人やイベント、タグを記述する際に用いるマークアップ方法です。

Microformatsは、あなたのWebサイトからフィードやAPIを早く簡単に提供するための手段です。また、Microformatsによって、さらに詳しい情報をWebで発信することができるようになります。マイクロフォーマットとは何か、またマイクロフォーマットを使うと何ができるかにある、より詳しい説明もご覧ください。

協力するには

Microformatsをさらに高めるためには、みなさんの協力が必要です。

• あなたのWebサイトやサービス、製品でmicroformatsを利用する。
• マイクロフォーマットをもっと使ってもらえるよう、周りにすすめる。
• Microformatsをおすすめするエントリを書く。
• TO DOリストにあるタスクをこなす。
• IRCチャンネルやメーリングリストで学んだり、質問に答える (メールを送る前に、一般的なガイドラインを読んでください)。
