Choose what you say and how you say based on who you're talking about. Many companies say they must generate a fifth grade level or middle school level, but if you are producing a program for doctors and scientists loose with multisyllabic words. If you do not know what multisyllabic means, stick with the fifth grade and middle school stuff.

Want to raise money with video? Want to convince young people not to smoke? Want to motivate a sales force? All about programs for these three groups must be different. You want the first group mourn. You want young girls to be terrified - or at least more afraid of dying than of not being cool. The third group - well, sellers are easy if you can show a good way to make money. (Not that there's anything wrong with that!)
