Is this a "direction" example?

This is a common example, we see in many variants.
- in Travel plan : day 1, here; day 2, there...
- Sightseeing in the city Tantek's Amelire tour tentatively mapped here
- A pub crawl event with a scheduled route
Are these directions? or just a succession of points, that could be solved in a list of geo-microformats?
