Commands

Adding a Note to Your Trips

  • whatevertext youwant: adds a note to your next trip (or your ongoing trip if you're traveling)
    • Example: Staying at the W Hotel, free for dinner when I arrive adds the note "Staying at the W Hotel, free for dinner when I arrive" to your next trip (or your ongoing trip if you're traveling)
  • cityname whatevertext youwant: adds a note to your next trip to that city
    • Example: london Gilbert & George exhibit at Tate Modern adds the note "Gilbert & George exhibit at Tate Modern" to your next trip to London

Adding a New Trip

  • @cityname ddmm ddmm
    • Example: @kyoto 1505 1805 adds a trip to Kyoto from March 15 to March 18

Dopplr Rules for Texting

You will be charged your normal text message (SMS) rate to text the Dopplr number. If you have any questions about rates, please contact your mobile service provider.

At the moment, Dopplr only receives text messages and never sends them to you. If we send confirmations we may do it by email (like this one). Dopplr promises never to send texts to your mobile phone without your consent.
