Oh, so I tried to fix a non-existing problem. ;-)
I suppose it's okay if I change the example to use "YYYY-MM-DD"

For the reasons stated in my previous email I've added
"The notation YYYY-MM-DD should be used instead of YYYYMMDD for better
readability." to note 4 of "1.5 Example".
