Market may have several meanings:
* the mindshare of developers
* documents on the web
* formats to represent data

Eg, HTML is the market leader in terms of web publishing formats, and
is a natural choice for most developers because it is already familiar
and well supported.

This example embodies all three meanings, and is similar to what I meant.
