I highly doubt that it will cause real confusion; furthermore, who
would be sued? No one owns the microformats name besides the community
-- which is why it's a community mark. We really don't have any assets
or formal structure, so it would be rather difficult to bring this to
court.
But that's highly unlikely as it is, since their name is singular. I
mean, we could do the right thing and contact them to let them know
that we're not looking to encrouch and maybe we'll be rewarded with
good karma... Or we could just fuggetaboutit.
