Here's a really dumb, minimal version:

1.) no harm in doing it anyway.
2.) it was a rather easy win
3.) It generated a lot of ideas.  see the todo list.
4.) it still fulfilles the purpose of showing other developers how
fields match classnames.
5.) good practice for fancier editors in the future.
