You would have to build a custom HTML-based Dialect such as ones here:
 http://esw.w3.org/topic/CustomRdfDialects?highlight=%28CategoryGrddl%29

or try RDFa 
http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml-rdfa-primer/

It supports DC metadata and namespaces "out of the box"

If its not possible then come back to the table and say "we need" dc to
be ported to microformats. How many people have tried the alternatives
first?
