Hi everybody,
thanks for your opinions.
I have added a typical example to the measure examples page: http://microformats.org/wiki/measure-examples#Bendicks_nutritional_info
In fact most of the requirement are covered with hmeasure.
Additional requirements are the possibility to mark up a reference value like “per 100g” or “per portion” and like Thomas mentioned a root element like "nutrition".
What are the next steps to go? What do you think about it?
Looking forward to your feedback.
Best regards
Christian

Hi everybody,

I agree, nutrition-facts as a microformat is a great idea.

When it comes to special diets, I think an additional tag/format is
necessary - keeping in mind the principle of simplicity. Think about
all the variations like "lacto-ovo vegetarianism", "lacto
vegetarianism", "pesco-vegetarianism" etc. This could be too much to
consider for a simple format that is supposed to store nutritions.

Of couse both should be able to be integrated and combined in hRecipe
or hProduct.

Kind regards,
Bas.
