RSS is a legacy XML format for syndicating typically time-stamped content from web sites. RSS is an acronym that that stands for: Rich Site Summary (originally RDF Site Summary, often dubbed Really Simple Syndication). rfc-4287 is an alternative XML format for feeds.
There are many problems consuming RSS feeds.
