I know this introduces another debate, but the author isn't required
to build a meaningful page for rel-tag and this would work in exactly
the same way.  All we need is for one site to implement a 'datespace'
(a Technorati style aggregator perhaps) and we could have:

<a rel="dtstart" href="http://mybigdatesite.com/2008/06/30/">June 30,
2008 at 1:00 pm</a>
