I'll challenge that. A generic microformat parser doesn't need to
necessarily take in XDMP + microformats and spit out the parsed
property/value pairs. Is it not feasible to produce a generic
microformat parsing library, which is then extended for each specific
microformat that needs to be parsed? This extension could have the
list of properties the parser needs to look out for.
