[uf-discuss] Newbie with an introduction and a question

Hello list.

I'm a freelance web/mobile developer and PHP coder in Trieste, Italy.
After looking at microformats with interest for some time I've just
started to test this stuff out in my recent work, mostly hCard.

Am I correct in assuming that the Operator extension in debug mode is
the nearest there is to a validator right now?

I'm puzzled about some basic hCalendar stuff I've put into a page this
week. The page is at http://www.monteanalogo.net/programma.htm. Operator
does indeed recognize the embedded vevents and allows me to add them to
Yahoo! Calendar using its actions; where it all goes wrong is trying to
add an event to Google Calendar, where all I get is a 'Bad request'.
It is Operator, Google or just my code? I've asked about that on the
Evolt mailing list to no avail.

Hope you'll be able to point me in the right direction, because the more
I mess with all this microstuff, the more fun I'm having...
