Current Licensing Formats

This page serves to document a list of licensing and attribution metadata schemas, formats, and efforts as background for the design of [licensing] information which may be used in various microformats, e.g., media-info (when completed).

Are there any known efforts specifically concerning licensing and attribution?

• Picture Licensing Universal System may be vapor, no documented format, will attempt to cover every image licensing scenario and hence will be very complex if ever completed
