  • June 8th: Les Orchard, Greasemonkey, hCalendar, into MovableType (http://www.decafbad.com/2005/06/magic_hcalendar.mov) (blog post (http://www.decafbad.com/blog/2005/06/08/greasemonkey_magic), Google cached version (http://72.14.207.104/search?q=cache:kzuOWtWLQUMJ:www.decafbad.com/blog/2005/06/08/greasemonkey-magic+decafbad+Les+Orchard+hCalendar&hl=en&gl=us&ct=clnk&cd=1)). Les Orchard created a Greasemonkey script (http://www.decafbad.com/2005/06/magic_hcalendar.user.js) that uses the hCalendar creator (http://microformats.org/code/hcalendar/creator) to allow you to quickly enter an event into MovableType or any other TEXTAREA (e.g. in WordPress etc.) on a web page. Note: the hCalendar creator has since been improved quite a bit with better datetime/timezone handling etc. and thus it would be great if someone could update the Greasemonkey script (http://www.decafbad.com/2005/06/magic_hcalendar.user.js) to use the latest version of the hCalendar creator and republish it.
