In general, custom use of class names to express meaning is already
happening out there in the wild.

Modern web designers (e.g. Doug Bowman, Dave Shea, etc.) have been doing
this for quite some time, view source on some of their sites/pages/markup
etc. and take a look.

I'd resist any desire to create a formal "clearinghouse" because there is
too much of a temptation to just fill it with theoretical examples that
people think of.

Instead, consider the Web, specifically examples built by modern web
designers, to already be such a clearinghouse, and learn from their
examples.
