[Dougal Campbell]

I'm Dougal Campbell, and I'm involved in two different community things 
currently. The first is WordPress, which is a blog system that I imagine 
many of you have heard of. The second is Ping-O-Matic, which is an 
XML-RPC ping redistribution service (see pingomatic.com if that doesn't 
make any sense). My interest in microformats is mostly related to my 
blogging activities.

In addition to blogging, I've also been active in other areas over the 
years, to varying degrees. I've contributed code to the Persistance of 
Vision raytracer (I coded the hexagon texture many, many years ago), I 
used to be fairly active in the anti-spam community (e.g. in the 
net.admin.net-abuse.email newsgroup), and I had minor mentions in Alan 
Schwartz and Simson Garfinkle's "Stopping Spam" and in Paul Robichaux's 
"Managing Microsoft Exchange Server".

My current dayjob involves backend perl coding for a network access 
portal used in the hospitality industry (hotels, airports, etc).
