Can't we add it ourselves?  I'm assuming the events are being  
submitted via an AJAX call and authenticated via sessions (though I  
haven't yet been able to verify this in the 2000 lines of obfuscated  
JavaScript).  If that's the case, it should be possible for a  
bookmarklet/Greasemonkey script/Google toolbar patch to parse vevents  
on a page and insert working 'Add to Google calendar' buttons near  
each found.
