定義

メーリングリスト(mailing-lists)での一般的な定義は、「分散的開発を実現するために用いられる、セマンティクスをHTMLに埋め込む為のシンプルな仕様」です。もう少し細かく説明すると、microformatsは下記のように定義できます。

Webにあるリソースそのものや、それを利用するツールやサービスを分散的に処理できるようにします。

シンプルな仕様

人間が解読できる(X)HTML/XMLドキュメントやAtom/RSSフィード、そしてプレーンなXMLでの提供

現存するコンテンツの利用パターンを標準化することからはじめています。

概略的で説明的なclass名を使い、ソースをみてもわかりやすくなっています。

現存の相互運用できる規格に基づくことにより、汎用性が高まります。

協力の方法
